Two exciting new professional development opportunities are being offered through Gallaudet Interpreting Service. Choose from a 9-month PAID mentorship or a 1-week intensive program, both offering 4 specialized tracks:<\/p>\n

Legal – SC:L Preparation
\nCODA Interpreters
\nCDI – Deafblind Focus
\nASL to Spoken English<\/p>\n

Option 1: 9-Month PAID mentorship for certified interpreters<\/p>\n

~ Apply by May 20, 2012 ~
\nfor the August 6, 2012 to May 10, 2013 session<\/p>\n

Advance your skills rapidly in a supportive, stimulating, culturally diverse, linguistically rich, and professionally challenging environment.<\/p>\n

The Results! Mentoring program is a theoretically based, action-oriented mentoring program designed to take interpreters to the next skill level, and beyond. This is a PAID mentoring experience for nationally certified interpreters.<\/p>\n

Option 2: 1-week intensive specialized training – onsite at Gallaudet University<\/p>\n

Come to Gallaudet University for a week-long series of workshops focusing on four specialized topics :<\/p>\n
