A<br \/>\nrenowned storyteller and public speaker, she has performed in New York<br \/>\nat The Moth\u2019s Mainstage, The 92Y, UCB Theatre, SXSW (South by<br \/>\nSouthwest) and given speeches at high schools, universities and<br \/>\nDeafHope, a nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence<br \/>\nagainst deaf women and children.<\/p>\n<p>Crews\u2019s memoir has received rave reviews from publications including<br \/>\nPublishers Weekly, Booklist, Kirkus Reviews, Glamour, ELLE magazine,<br \/>\nand Library Journal.
