A three-hour workshop presented by Randal King that includes Do\u2019s & Don\u2019ts\u2019s: When, Where, and How. Mr. King will share some ways that ASL instructors can help prepare their students for culturally appropriate interactions within the Deaf community such as appropriate survival signs, understanding the regional signs, emphasis on communication over skills etc. Randal King, a Gallaudet Alumni, received his Masters Degree in Deaf Education from Lamar University. Currently he is teaching ASL both at Jean Massieu Academy and at TCC\/Trinity Campus.<\/p>\n

Certificate of participation will be given at the end of the workshop.
