Why Some People Do Not Want to be Defined As “Hearing Impaired”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The term “hearing impaired” are commonly used to define people with
\nhearing loss but some people don’t want to be identified this way.<\/p>\n

According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication
\nDisorders, 2 – 3 American children out of 1,000 are born with mild to
\nprofound hearing loss and approximately 36 million American adults
\nreport that they have some difficulties hearing…..<\/p>\n
