Bobbie Beth Scoggins (South Dakota) attended Gallaudet University and
\nthen transferred to California State University at Northridge, where
\nshe earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology and master\u2019s degree in
\nadministration and supervision. She obtained her doctoral degree at
\nPepperdine University. For twenty years she served as administrator of
\na drug and alcohol recovery center and as the executive director of the
\nKentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Currently, she is
\nthe chief operations officer of Communication Service for the Deaf
\n(CSD).<\/p>\n

In addition to her business success, Bobbie Beth is admired nationwide
\nfor her career as an actress, and she has been recognized by many
\nprofessional and philanthropic organizations for her achievements. She
\nhas been involved with the NAD since 1972, because \u201cthe NAD works for a
\nbetter quality of life for all deaf Americans. I wanted to be part of a
\nteam process making a difference in a person\u2019s life.\u201d In her free time,
\nBobbie Beth enjoys Harley-Davidson motorcycle riding, reading,
\nexercising, going to the beach, and walking to her heart\u2019s content!<\/p>\n
