\nGovernor Dennis Daugaard will be unable to attend the 51st Biennial NAD
\nConference on July 3 – 7, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky.<\/p>\n
\noutpouring of concern, opposition, and support regarding the choice of
\nSouth Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard as a plenary presenter during the
\n51st Biennial NAD Conference to be held July 3-7, 2012 in Louisville,
\nKentucky.<\/p>\n
\nand organizational affiliates for proposed priorities for the next two
\nyears (2012-2014). The deadline to submit priority proposals is now
\nextended to June 9, 2012. If you missed the opportunity to submit a
\npriority proposal, please do so now! There are two ways to submit
\npriority proposals:<\/p>\n
\neducation, training and public policy workshops from Wednesday, July 4
\nthrough Friday, July 6th in the following tracks: ASL: Arts and
\nAcademics, Deaf Education, Economic Empowerment & Employment, Equal
\nAccess Through Technology, Grassroots & Legislative Advocacy, and
\nAdditional Areas of Interest.<\/p>\n
\nheld at the 51st biennial NAD Conference. Of special note – following
\nour theme, we are having a panel on diversity titled, ‘Nothing Diverse
\nAbout Us, Without Us’.<\/p>\n

\nThursday, July 5 & Friday, July 6 from 8:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM. The workshop,
\nled by Jimmy Beldon, will explore the Roles, Functions and Ethics of
\nDeaf Interpreting at the Kentucky International Convention Center
\n(KICC).<\/p>\n
