Howdy!<\/p>\n

You are invited to attend the Texas 83rd Legislative Session
\nPreparatory Training to be held Sunday, August 12 \u2013 Monday, August 13,
\n2012 at the Embassy Suites Austin \u2013Central!<\/p>\n

This unique opportunity is hosted by the Texas Advanced Leadership and
\nAdvocacy Conference (TALAC) and is currently offered exclusively to
\npast TALAC participants!<\/p>\n

Attendees will:<\/p>\n

* Understand the importance of building a relationship with their local
\nand state Representatives
\n* Learn effective ways to influence Public Policies
\n* Find out how and when to provide personal input to House and Senate
\ninterim committees
\n* Discover which organizations and agencies support the issues most
\nimportant to them, and how to work with those agencies and
\norganizations
\n* Have an opportunity to personally visit their Representatives\u2019
\noffices, or the offices of Committee leaders, at the Texas State
\nCapitol building<\/p>\n

No registration fee will be charged for this event!! Hotel
\naccommodations and most meals are provided, and attendees will be
\nreimbursed up to $200 in travel-related expenses.<\/p>\n
