The event started at seven o&#8217;clock but the<br \/>\nline was already long at six with eager fans, families, friends and<br \/>\nattendees. The stage was beautifully lit up with colorful lights and<br \/>\nhad two large screens on both ends of the stage creating a very<br \/>\nprofessional and exciting feel to the event. Fourteen young women all<br \/>\ncompeted to become the final Miss Deaf America! During the Finals, three familiar<br \/>\nopponents faced off against one another in Louisville. Gallaudet<br \/>\nUniversity, NTID \/ RIT, and California State University, Northridge<br \/>\nall got off to a great start, and the competition was beyond intense!<br \/>\nEmcee Alana Bealwowed the audience with her knowledge of all things<br \/>\nLouisville- incidentially, the world&#8217;s largest manufacturer of disco<br \/>\nballs. It was Thursday Night Fever- and we have a score-by-score<br \/>\nbreakdown of the entire competition!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nad.org\/sites\/all\/modules\/civicrm\/extern\/url.php?u=18774&#038;qid=1811665\">http:\/\/nad.org\/sites\/all\/modules\/civicrm\/extern\/url.php?u=18774&#038;qid=1811665<\/a><\/p>\n<p>#NAD12 Media Team Coverage<\/p>\n<p>The NAD Media Team was everywhere during the conference! The volunteer<br \/>\nteam included photographers, writers \/ bloggers, videographers, video<br \/>\neditors, Twitter folks, Instagram snappers, Facebook fans, web gurus<br \/>\nand a captionist!
