Summer is nearly half way over. Some of us have spent time in a hotel
\nor motel as we embarked on new adventures on the road in the spirit of
\nfun. On the other hand, we read news reports of people who had to
\nescape the oppressive heat wave, or cope with power outages by staying
\nat whatever room they could find with power and air conditioning. I
\nhope that if you have stayed in a hotel or motel recently, it was a
\npleasant experience for you.<\/p>\n

Did you know it has been 22 years this month since the Americans with
\nDisabilities Act (ADA) was passed? During that time, many hotels and
\nmotels have become more accessible than before, but we continue to hear
\nstories about hotels and motels that are still not providing accessible
\ntelecommunications and media amenities. TDI wants to discuss this issue
\nwith the hospitality industry, and if necessary the US Department of
\nJustice (DOJ). But we need specific information from you regarding your
\nexperiences with telephone and television accessibility in the hotels
\nand motels in which you have stayed in order to document our concerns.
\nPlease take a few moments to fill out the survey and share your
\nexperiences. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Thank
