Concordia University Texas is currently searching for an Adjunct
\n(Part-time) Instructor(s) for two sections of the following
\nundergraduate Communication Course 1311: Sign Language and Deafness.<\/p>\n

– Class meetings are: Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10:45 am; Tuesday
\nand Thursday from 1:00-2:15 pm.
\n– Classes begin August 22nd and end December 14th, 2012.
\n– Course Description: COM 1311 Sign Language & Deafness – Beginning 3.0
\n– The study of American Sign Language (ASL) as used by deaf people in
\nthe United States and Canada. The course will include a study of the
\nunique culture of deaf people.
\n– Minimum Educational and Professional Requirements:
\n– Previous experience teaching the course
\n– Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the
\nsubject
\n– While a Ph.D. in the subject is preferred, applicants with a Master\u2019s
\nand teaching experience will be considered<\/p>\n
