Job Opening: Production Worker – Pasadena, Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

Production Worker<\/p>\n

Reports to: Directly reports to Line Leader and Supervisor with dotted
\nline to Production Manager. Compensation: Pay rates range between $10 \u2013
\n$13.50 per hour depending on one\u2019s skill level and position. Schedule:
\n6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on a 12 hour shift pattern work schedule. (Example:
\nWeek 1 you would work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Week 2
\nyou would work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This schedule would
\nrotate every other week.) Working weekends and overtime is often
\nnecessary and required.<\/p>\n

Location: Pasadena, Texas (Near Houston)<\/p>\n

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:<\/p>\n

* Setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery.
\n* Assembling product (manually as well as the use of tools).
\n* Cleaning equipment and station area.
\n* Loading and unloading materials\/products.
\n* Feeding material into machines.
\n* Marking product.
\n* Various quality checking processes and procedures.
\n* Inspecting product during each stage of production to ensure product
\nmeets specs and standards.
\n* Helping\/assisting machine operators.
\n* Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n

Essential Physical Functions:<\/p>\n

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout a 12+ hour
\nshift.
\n* Must be able to stand for long periods of time during a 12+ hour
\nshift.
\n* Must be able to consistently bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
\n* Must be able to withstand working in all weather conditions- Work
\nenvironments are not climate controlled.
\n* Must have good manual dexterity to work with small parts and small
\ntools.
\n* Must be able to handle large size objects (for example, products that
\ncan be 5 ft wide and 6 ft. tall)
\n* Regular use of tools requires some degree of co-ordination, speed and
\nconcentration
\n* Ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.<\/p>\n

Work Environment:<\/p>\n

* Most tasks and responsibilities require working in a non-climate
\ncontrolled manufacturing plant. \u2013 (exposure to disagreeable conditions
\ntypical to a manufacturing plant.)
\n* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
\nexposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
\n* The employee is regularly exposed to high noise environments.
\n* The employee may be exposed to dust.
\n* The employee may be exposed to chemicals.
\n* When in the plant Personal Protective Equipment includes but is not
\nlimited to: safety footwear, eye, hearing and hand protection.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

* Candidates must be:
\n* reliable
\n* fast-paced, efficient, and detail oriented.
\n* team-oriented
\n* able to follow directions easily
\n* willing and able to do physically intensive tasks
\n* Previous manufacturing\/production experience, strongly desired.<\/p>\n
