Compensation: Pay rates range between $10 \u2013<br \/>\n$13.50 per hour depending on one\u2019s skill level and position. Schedule:<br \/>\n6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on a 12 hour shift pattern work schedule. (Example:<br \/>\nWeek 1 you would work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Week 2<br \/>\nyou would work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This schedule would<br \/>\nrotate every other week.) Working weekends and overtime is often<br \/>\nnecessary and required.<\/p>\n<p>Location: Pasadena, Texas (Near Houston)<\/p>\n<p>Benefits: Medical\/Rx, dental, matching 401(k), disability, and life<br \/>\ninsurance.<\/p>\n<p>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:<\/p>\n<p>* Setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery.<br \/>\n* Assembling product (manually as well as the use of tools).<br \/>\n* Cleaning equipment and station area.<br \/>\n* Loading and unloading materials\/products.<br \/>\n* Feeding material into machines.<br \/>\n* Marking product.<br \/>\n* Various quality checking processes and procedures.<br \/>\n* Inspecting product during each stage of production to ensure product<br \/>\nmeets specs and standards.<br \/>\n* Helping\/assisting machine operators.<br \/>\n* Other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p>Essential Physical Functions:<\/p>\n<p>* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout a 12+ hour<br \/>\nshift.<br \/>\n* Must be able to stand for long periods of time during a 12+ hour<br \/>\nshift.<br \/>\n* Must be able to consistently bend, stoop, and reach overhead.<br \/>\n* Must be able to withstand working in all weather conditions- Work<br \/>\nenvironments are not climate controlled.<br \/>\n* Must have good manual dexterity to work with small parts and small<br \/>\ntools.<br \/>\n* Must be able to handle large size objects (for example, products that<br \/>\ncan be 5 ft wide and 6 ft. tall)<br \/>\n* Regular use of tools requires some degree of co-ordination, speed and<br \/>\nconcentration<br \/>\n* Ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.<\/p>\n<p>Work Environment:<\/p>\n<p>* Most tasks and responsibilities require working in a non-climate<br \/>\ncontrolled manufacturing plant. \u2013 (exposure to disagreeable conditions<br \/>\ntypical to a manufacturing plant.)<br \/>\n* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly<br \/>\nexposed to work near moving mechanical parts.<br \/>\n* The employee is regularly exposed to high noise environments.<br \/>\n* The employee may be exposed to dust.<br \/>\n* The employee may be exposed to chemicals.<br \/>\n* When in the plant Personal Protective Equipment includes but is not<br \/>\nlimited to: safety footwear, eye, hearing and hand protection.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>* Candidates must be:<br \/>\n* reliable<br \/>\n* fast-paced, efficient, and detail oriented.<br \/>\n* team-oriented<br \/>\n* able to follow directions easily<br \/>\n* willing and able to do physically intensive tasks<br \/>\n* Previous manufacturing\/production experience, strongly desired.<\/p>\n<p>** Qualified and interested candidates may apply to**:\u00a0schutzjobsTX@gmail.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Opening: Production Worker &#8211; Pasadena, Texas SCHUETZ http:\/\/www.schuetz.net Production Worker Reports to: Directly reports to Line Leader and Supervisor with dotted line to Production Manager.
