\nleaders (for ages 16 to older adults);
\nInterpreter workshop \u201cTelling Stories: Receptive and Expressive\u201d (CEU\u2019s

\nDinner and Keynote Address \u201cSpiritual Revival in Deaf America\u201d
\nIce-cream social
\n\u201cRefreshing Our Faith\u201d Bible study led by Linsay Darnall, Jr.<\/p>\n

Early-bird all-inclusive registration fee for the weekend is $100 (if
\npaid by September 1, 2012)
\nAfter September 1, the price is $125.
\nChildren registration fee is $25, if parents are registered too.
\nIndividual event pricing is available on-line<\/p>\n

This event is hosted by the Lovers Lane Deaf Fellowship and the South
\nCentral Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Congress of the Deaf. All
\nactivities are interpreted in ASL or voice interpreted (exceptions in
\nthe interpreter workshop).<\/p>\n

Christians of all denominations and non-denominations are encouraged to
\nparticipate in this special conference for the Deaf community and to
\nstrengthen the Christian Deaf community in North Texas. Seekers or
\nthose without a church are welcome. Interpreters and students of Deaf
\nculture and language are also encouraged to attend!<\/p>\n

For out of town guests, we have special rates at Homewood Suites Market
\nCenter, 2724 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207. On Friday and
\nSaturday evening there are single rooms at $109 per night and double
\nroom at $129 per night. Rooms are non-smoking, include kitchens, hot
\nbreakfast buffet, free wireless internet access and parking. Shuttle
\nservice from the hotel to Lovers Lane is also included. Call 214 819

About our presenter:<\/p>\n

Linsay Darnall is Deaf and a CODA, and has been heavily involved in the
\nDeaf community of Nebraska and the USA for several decades. Among his
\nexperience is serving as vice-president of Nebraska Association of the
\nDeaf for two years, president of the Nebraska School for the Deaf
\nAlumni Association for 17 years, and as National Association of the
\nDeaf Region II board member for two years. He recently preached at the
\n2012 NAD Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, which held worship
\nservices for the first time in several years. He has also led camps for
\nthe Jr. National Association for the Deaf. Recently, he completed the
\ntranslation of the Book of Haggai in the Old Testament for the ASL
\nBible, produced by Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He received
\nthe Outstanding Use of American Sign Language Award from the Gallaudet
\nUniversity Theater Department.<\/p>\n
