Executive Director<\/p>\n

Deaf-Hearing Communication Centre (DHCC) is an innovative, non-profit
\norganization with a mission to promote equal communication
\naccessibility and cultural awareness for Deaf, hard of hearing and
\nhearing individuals through our highly respected and much utilized
\nsignlanguage interpreting services. In addition, we provide CART
\nservices, sign language classes, workshops, sensitivity training and
\nadvocacy. We are located near Philadelphia and serve southeastern
\nPennsylvania, southern New Jersey and northern Delaware.<\/p>\n

DHCC is searching for a charismatic and dynamic leader to manage our
\nsustainability and growth. The Executive Director is responsible for
\nensuring day-to-day operations including human resources and financial
\nmanagement, fundraising, public relations and community development.
\nThe successful candidate will possess exemplary skills in
\norganizational, business and program development. Furthermore, this
\nperson must be a skilled communicator with a passion for DHCC’s mission
\nwho can build partnerships with key stakeholders including Board of
\nDirectors, staff, consumers and interpreters.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:
\n\u00b7Master’s degree in business, community development, non-profit
\nmanagement or public administration. Consideration given to other
\ndegrees with appropriate experience<\/p>\n

\u00b7Minimum of five years experience in a senior management position<\/p>\n

\u00b7Financial management experience with multi-million dollar budgets<\/p>\n

\u00b7Proven experience with public relations and fundraising<\/p>\n

\u00b7Fluent user of American Sign Language (ASL)<\/p>\n

\u00b7Experience with Deaf and hard of hearing communities and
\nknowledge of related organizations<\/p>\n

\u00b7Experience with presentations, program development and community
\noutreach<\/p>\n

\u00b7Excellent communication skills and strong written English<\/p>\n

\u00b7Comprehensive analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving
\nskills<\/p>\n

\u00b7Excellent organization and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

\u00b7Collaborative management style and effective team player<\/p>\n
