I want<\/em><br \/>\n<em> to take the time to say thank you so much for your support and it was a<\/em><br \/>\n<em> pleasure meeting all of you!! All questions<\/em><br \/>\n<em> about applying for the job should be sent to SafePlace\u2019s Human Resource<\/em><br \/>\n<em> department.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Thank you!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Nida<\/em><br \/>\n====================================================<\/p>\n<p><strong>SafePlace: Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Survival Center is<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> recruiting for the following position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deaf Services Outreach\/Educator &#8212; $34,500yr (full time)<\/p>\n<p>The Deaf Services Outreach\/Educator outreaches to spread awareness in<br \/>\nthe Deaf community about SafePlace and domestic and sexual violence.<br \/>\nProvides training\/education on topics to the Deaf community related to<br \/>\nhealthy relationships and domestic\/sexual violence and training on Deaf<br \/>\nculture\/sensitivity to hearing professionals. Lead in managing social<br \/>\nmedia activities to engage the Deaf community. Key role in working<br \/>\nclosely with an instructional technology consultant and other staff in<br \/>\nbuilding an online training for ASL interpreters. Builds<br \/>\nrelationships\/partnerships with local Deaf community and plans public<br \/>\nawareness events related to domestic\/sexual violence. Staffs booths at<br \/>\nlocal Deaf events to promote information about SafePlace. Recruits and<br \/>\nsupervises volunteers.
