A Place for All: Faith and Community For Persons with Disabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nominated for a 2011 Emmy award and selected for a DeRose-Hinkhouse
\nMemorial Award<\/p>\n

It is a startling number. According to the CDC, 1 out of 5 Americans
\nhas at least one disability. How we cope with that disability and how
\nwe deal with other people with disabilities \u2013 well, that\u2019s a choice. A
\nlearned response. We need to change attitudes, remove barriers, and
\ncreate a truly inclusive community.<\/p>\n

A Place for All: Faith and Community for Persons with Disabilities is a
\nunique interfaith documentary, produced in conjunction with the New
\nYork Board of Rabbis, with the support of an extraordinary range of
\nfaith groups including the National Council of Churches, the
\nEvangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Islamic Society of
\nNorth America (ISNA), the United Methodist Church, the United Church of
\nChrist and the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops.<\/p>\n
