People’s Law School – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

ASL interpreters are available upon advance request for hearing
\nimpaired attendees. Email requests to PLS@austinbar.org or call Julie
\nat 512-472-0279, x108 by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21 to obtain an
\ninterpreter for the event. Please specify which classes will be
\nattended.<\/p>\n

PLS East event will be held at a new location – Southern Careers
\nInstitute – Austin, 2301 S. Congress Ave., Suite 27 (enter through the
\nCVS parking lot) – for the half-day event, which puts Austin-area
\nlawyers at the podium discussing basic legal issues in English and
\nSpanish.<\/p>\n

Classes are during two sessions: 10:00 and 11:05 a.m. Subjects will
\ninclude Family Law The Divorce Process & Child Custody, Wills & Why You
\nNeed One, Criminal Law Understanding Your Rights, Immigration Rights,
\nBankruptcy Basics, Tenants Rights, and Consumer Law. Doors open at 9:45
\na.m.<\/p>\n
