Job Opportunity: Sorenson VRS Interpreter<\/strong><\/p>\n

Position: Sorenson VRS Interpreter
\nSorenson Video Relay Service (Sorenson VRS\u00ae) is currently hiring
\nprofessional interpreters to work at Sorenson VRS Interpreting Centers
\nin Texas. Interpreters at our state-of-the-art centers direct and
\nmanage video relay calls for deaf individuals.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n

* Ability to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (ASL)
\n* Preferred 3+ years working experience as a certified sign language
\ninterpreter in a variety of settings
\n* NAD level IV\/V, or RID CI, CT, CI\/CT, CSC, or NIC, NIC Advanced, NIC
\nMaster, or
\n* Hold a state interpreter certificate at the Intermediate or Master
\nCertificate skill levels or
\n* Have the professional interpreting experience to become a Sorenson
\nVRS interpreter (this is determined by management)
\n* Excellent voicing skills and a good understanding of deaf culture
\n* Experience with video interpreting preferred<\/p>\n

Compensation:
\nCommensurate with experience and qualifications<\/p>\n
