Job Summary Responsible for assisting with instructional tasks in a laboratory setting to assist the teaching staff.<\/p>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
\n<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Administers classroom tests to student with disabilities
\n\u2022 Diagnoses needs of students and gives instructions needed to remedy deficiencies in specified discipline
\n\u2022 Helps students with studying
\n\u2022 Responds to technical needs
\n\u2022 Supports and Coordinate activities with faculty
\n\u2022 Coordinates and schedule lab usage
\n\u2022 Prepares and maintain classrooms for applicable learning activities
\n\u2022 Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and
\nfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
\n\u2022 Completes all required training and professional development
\nsessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute
\n\u2022 Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence,
\nstudent success, innovation and creativity and service to the College<\/p>\n

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022Associate\u2019s degree or 60 college hours from a regionally accredited
\ncollege or university
\n\u2022 * Courses in the specialized field or equivalent knowledge and experience
\n\u2022 Two (2) years of work experience
\n\u2022 Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
\n\u2022 Excellent customer service skills
\n\u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills
\n\u2022 Experience working with computerized systems<\/p>\n

Desired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensures – American\u00a0Sign Language and English proficiency<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Ability to work with diverse populations with specific needs (i.e.
\nfaculty, staff, students, administration, etc.)
\n– Ability to multitask
\n– Technology proficiency
\n– Ability to learn new software and applications easily
\n– BEI Basic certification or higher
\n– Existing knowledge of Soloist software<\/p>\n
