We seek a forum to present ideas, debate issues, brainstorm solutions; we desire a supportive environment that encourages us speak freely and allows us to agree to disagree. We care about our community and we are concerned about what will become of our community years down the road.  We have learned that it doesn&#8217;t matter when we became deaf or hard of hearing, what our communication preferences are, where we attended school, and if our parents are deaf or hearing &#8211; we are different yet we are the same.  <\/p>\n<p>We share the common experience of being deaf or hard of hearing in a world that favors and depends on hearing.
