The December meeting of the Positive Interaction Program (P.I.P.) will take place at Woodhaven Deaf Baptist Church on Tuesday Dec 4th. The location is 9920 Long Point Dr. and the program will start at 7:30pm. There will be interpreters and CART caption.<\/p>\n

The guest speaker will be Dr. Verdi R. Lethermon, director of the H.P.D. Psychological Service and she will explain the thought process of police officers when in communication with the Deaf community.<\/p>\n

After her presentation, the audience is allow to question and bring up situations that a person would like for the H.P.D. officer in charge could assist with.<\/p>\n

Then there will be door prizes and a time of refreshment. All members of the Deaf community and ASL students are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n
