The Knights of Columbus, a service society associated with the Catholic Church, has a strong interest in bringing more services to those in the deaf community. Council #14679 at Saint Patrick Parish would like you invite anyone who can sign during mass and can possible become a member of the Knights of Columbus and help us recruit deaf members. We want to increase our reach so we can be more effective in our community with our charitable activities.<\/p>\n

We know there are many Catholics who use ASL as their primary language and we want to start a signing service so the can enjoy mass at one of the most elegant and holy houses of worship in the region. Because the Knights of Columbus is a charitable volunteer group, we currently cannot offer a stipend for performing translation services but we may be able to work out something if you wish to become a member of the Knights of Columbus.
