Support TSD! A message from Robert Giuntoli<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

My name is Robert Giuntoli and most of you may know me as “RG”. I am the Chair of the TSD PTA Legislative Affairs. You may remember me as the past TSD PTA President for the last 4 years.<\/p>\n

I led the TSD Rally at the Texas Capitol 2 years ago and brought parents to the legislative sessions to protest against the budget cut and we won.<\/p>\n

Now, it’s time again for us to remind them to keep supporting Texas School for the Deaf. (TSD) We are not facing any budget cut this time but we need to ask them to provide more money to TSD so that they can hire more staff to support TSD’s growing population of deaf students with additional needs.<\/p>\n

I need parents, alumnus, and supporters to come with TSD PTA to the upcoming sessions to show our support. All I need for you is to show up so they can see how many people care. I want the room filled with supporters like you. I will provide you stickers “I LOVE TSD” to put on your shirt so they can see who you are supporting for. You don’t have to be a member of TSD PTA to participate in this.<\/p>\n

Note: If you work for TSD, you can’t show up unless you take a personal leave (vacation) for that day. Do not use TSD or state government agency email to forward this email to your friends and other parents. Use your personal email.<\/p>\n

The first session is next week on Thursday, Jan 24th so please email me if you are interested in showing up. I will send you more details on where and when to meet.<\/p>\n

Please forward this to all of your deaf and hearing friends, relatives, supporters, alumnus, and parents of deaf children attending TSD.<\/p>\n
