The deadline date for the Sept. 8th Honorary Awards Event has been
\nextended to August 31st. <\/p>\n
Anytime, during the week, you may go to DAD and ask for Preston
\nAshley. He has tickets to sell. The tickets will still be on sale at
\nDAD till the end of Friday night, August 31st. <\/p>\n
We will have fancy tables with colorful tablecloths and have hired a
\ncatering company to deliver the hors d’ouevres for everyone who buys
\na ticket. <\/p>\n
The delicious gourmet hors d’ouevres will include three varieties of
\nsandwiches; i.e., banana bread\/cream cheese,chicken salad on a
\ncroissant and turkey & orange butter. Crab cakes,chipolata, vegetable
\ntrays with cherry tomatoes, asparagus, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli,
\ncelery, artichoke, and cheese and fruit platters. <\/p>\n
The hors d’ouevres will be served at 7:00 pm. <\/p>\n
Last but not at least,there also will three different kinds of cakes
\nfor the sweet tooth. <\/p>\n
Please note: this Friday has to be our last day of selling the
\ntickets because we have to share the number of plates to be ordered
\non the next day. <\/p>\n

The Honorary Awards Event planning committee and I are pleased to
\nannounce that the ticket price, per person at the Sept. 8th Honorary
\nAwards Event has been reduced from $35 to $25. <\/p>\n
For those who have already purchased a ticket for $35 each, you will
\nreceive a $10 refund, with proof of the ticket, at the door, that
\nevening. <\/p>\n
The Honorary Awards Event will be held at Dallas Association of the
\nDeaf on September 8th, at 7 pm. The location is 4215 Maple Ave.,
\nDallas, Texas. <\/p>\n
Dr. Michael Moore, a Gallaudet University professor, will be a
\nkeynote speaker and Mr. Chris Wagner, vice-president of CSDVRS
\nMarketing communication, will be the master of ceremonies. <\/p>\n
If you want to purchase a ticket, please see either Susan Lane, Jane
\nAnn Shelton, Debbie Weeks-Sisley, or Preston Ashley. <\/p>\n
The deadline for tickets will be on August 31st so that the right
\nnumber of hors d’ouevres plates can be ordered. For further
