Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency System\/P.I.P.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DATE: February 5, 2013<\/p>\n

The February meeting for P.I.P. (Positive Interaction Program) between the Deaf community and H.P.D. police department will feature Ms. Sonya L. Clauson as guest speaker. She will be sharing with the Deaf community the progress of establishing the new 9-1-1 text system. Once established, the deaf can immediately reach the operators off the 9-1-1 system without delay.<\/p>\n

The meeting will be held from 7:30 pm until 9 pm at:<\/p>\n

\nHouston, Texas 77055<\/p>\n

After the presentation everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions of Ms. Clauson and Officer James Sobota. Officer Sobota will take questions from the audience about anything concerning the police department.<\/p>\n

There will be ASL interpretation and C.A.R.T. service. There will also be door prizes and refreshment served. Hope to see you there to take in the advancement of technology.<\/p>\n
