CSD is announcing our opening of an executive position, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). For over the last 37 years, CSD has carried out our mission of creating greater opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing individuals to reach their full potential. We continue to create and introduce products and services that change people\u2019s lives by living an even more positive and fully integrated life.<\/p>\n

Our CFO directs, administers and coordinates the activities of the Finance Office in accordance with our company policies, goals, objectives and budget. This position is responsible for maintaining the fiscal soundness and the overall financial and budgetary functions of CSD. CFO functions include strategic planning, leadership and oversight of accounting, payroll, financial compliance activities which include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, investments, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, employee benefits, purchasing and production of financial statements for all programs. Our CFO will collaborate with our CEO and President on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and securing new funds. This position serves as the main external and internal point of contact for finance-related matters including annual financial audits of CSD financial statements.<\/p>\n
