Houston\u2019s first film festival committed to promoting appreciation and awareness of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. The Jewish Family Services and the Mayor\u2019s Office of People with Disabilities; MOPD, are community partners sponsoring the ReelAbilities: Houston Disabilities Film Festival 2013 which will occur at various locations across town from February 6-13, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Mourning (Soog) Tuesday Feb. 12th at 7pm; Movie Studio Grill*<br \/>\nMorteza Farshbaf \/ Iran \/ Persian \/ 85 min \/ Official Website<\/p>\n<p>A cinematic road trip follows a deaf couple and their young nephew on their way to Tehran. Before they get there, the couple must break the bad news to the boy that his parents were killed in an accident, but the journey proves to be more complex than they even expected.<\/p>\n<p>After the film, there will be a \u201cTalk Back\u201d session where members of the audience can discuss what they have just seen and ask related questions of experts in the field.
