Hello everyone!!!<\/p>\n

It’s the middle of the week already and the weekend is fast approaching! Last weekend was action-packed at the DAD club. We had a light night on Saturday evening and played LCR for two rounds. A member won $25.00 in the bonus round! Then Sunday was the annual Super Bowl event!! The DAD officers wish to thank all the people that came and joined in on the fun!! We all had a blast! Congratulations to the Ravens team! The 49ers fought hard as well!! It was a hot game and well worth watching!<\/p>\n

\"NAD_Rosenblum_Photo_NAD\"<\/a>Without further ado, we want to update you all with this weekend’s upcoming events. DAD club will open its doors to all members and non-members for a special evening this Friday on the 8th at 6:30 PM. Howard Rosenblum, the CEO of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), will be in town this weekend. He will appear at our club to introduce himself and talk more in depth about NAD as well as our civil rights. His presentation will commence at 7:30PM. It would be a honor to meet him in person and for us all to have a chance to learn more about NAD. Howard is a deaf Attorney from Washington, D.C. who represents 28 million Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. In 2011, he was appointed by NAD as the Chief Executive Officer! *Hands waving in the air* How awesome is that?!<\/p>\n

The admission is free to everyone!! DAD’s kitchen will serve food to anyone who wishes to eat at the club. We have a special treat as we will be serving Italian style spaghetti, salad and garlic bread at $5.00 a plate!<\/p>\n

We hope to see many of you at the club this Friday to meet Howard and have a chance to ask him questions about your rights after his presentation.<\/p>\n

**** Please spread the word around the Deaf community as this is for your and others’ benefits! ****<\/p>\n

We will open at 7PM this Saturday for Social gathering. Perhaps play a fun game or two!<\/p>\n
