Hello Members and Friends of DAD; <\/p>\n

Wow, it’s so hard to believe that summer is over! Schools and
\ncolleges have begun a week or two ago. Where did the time go! DAD has
\nmade a couple new changes inside the building; the Officer’s office
\nhas finally been done and relocating the stage. Please do come and
\ntake a look at our newly renovated building. <\/p>\n

In spite of our busy schedules, I certainly hope you are able to come
\nto one or all of our upcoming events for this month: <\/p>\n

September 7, 7:30 p.m. – Social Security Administration Presentation.
\nIt’s your chance to have a better understanding of SSI\/SSDI\/SS and
\nMedicare A\/B. <\/p>\n

September 8, 7:00 p.m. – DAD HONORARY AWARDS. Let’s come and take
\nsome time to recognize and praise some of the hardworking and
\ndedicated individuals within DAD. Please do contact Herb Picou,
\nreddyjo@sbcglobal.net, ASAP if you desire to come. <\/p>\n

September 14, 7:30 p.m. – General Members Meeting. It’s your time to
\nspeak up or listen to what others have to say! Please come! <\/p>\n

September 15, 9:00 – 12:00 – DAD\/DFWA’s co-sponsored third job
\nrelated workshop, out of four, to be presented by Tashee Gates, DARS
\ncounselor, on “Becoming a Self Advocate: Getting the Job Done!” <\/p>\n

September 15, 3:00-6:00 p.m. – Dallas Black Deaf Advocate Meeting. <\/p>\n

September 15, 8:00 p.m. – CINGO Night. It’s a long time favorite game
\nby many of us! <\/p>\n

September 16, 10-6 p.m. – Fall Bazaar. It’s your chance to get some
\nof your Christmas shopping done! For the booth, please go

\nRSVP is due by Sep 8. <\/p>\n
