We’re experiencing exciting times at CSD, with the continued growth of our Technology + Design Studio in Austin, TX and creating innovative solutions that will make a meaningful difference in the world. A fresh, unique and fully accessible environment exists within our workplace, which in turn supports the creative and stimulating work we do.<\/p>\n

We’re now seeking a product guru to be our Software Development Manager and will support our team of designers, developers, programmers and engineers as well as seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team.<\/p>\n

The Software Development Manager (SDM) is responsible for the daily management duties of CSD\u2019s Technology+Design Studio (T+DS), which is an innovative space where new products and services that positively impact the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community are created. The SDM is a product guru and supports a high-energy team of designers, developers, programmers, and engineers. The SDM executes product architectural decisions, development processes, and coding practices. The SDM works in close collaboration with the President on product strategy. The SDM also works alongside the Project Management Office (PMO) to define and manage performance expectations from the conception to deployment phase of the product development life cycle.

The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and systems administration in an enterprise environment including Linux, OS X, Windows and mobile computing platforms, such as the iOS and Android. The System Administrator is also responsible for delivering superior service to users, through the direction of senior Technology Group staff, while quickly learning and implementing new technology solutions. This position also will regularly confer with other technology specialists such as database administrators, software developers and systems administrators along with users in regards to current and prospective system changes and identification of future needs.
