2013 Texas Marijuana March 5\/5\/13 – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

HIGH all, It’s that time of year again! Texas NORML presents the 2013 Texas Marijuana March on Cinco de Mayo.<\/p>\n

This year we are happy to provide 2 sign language interpreters for our march and the rally! They will interpret for the speakers as well as the lyrics for the music at the Capitol steps. We would like to apologize that we have not provided this service in the past and hope that you will return to join us this year.<\/p>\n

Our speakers will be Vincent Lopez, Texas NORML’s Director of Patient Outreach and editor of the Austin 420 quarterly magazine and Ann Lee, founder of Republicans Against Marijuana Prohibition (RAMP) and mother of Oaksterdam founder Richard Lee.<\/p>\n

Music this year will be an acoustic set by local Austin artist Gregory Moreno of the Contrabandits.<\/p>\n

Meetup at 3:15 at City Hall, We’re getting everyone ready and organized by 3:50 to begin the march so we arrive loud and proud at the Capitol by 4:20. We hope to see all of you wonderful people out there marching for your fellow Texans ability to choose a safer, more responsible choice.<\/p>\n
