This year\u2019s conference theme is \u201c<em>Together We Connect: Reach. Engage. Act. Lead.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Jr. NAD National Conference November 5-10, 2013 will provide enhanced leadership development and advocacy training among Jr. NAD chapters\u2019 members and observers, including their advisors. This is an extraordinary opportunity to create connections with other members from all over the United States, as well as learning together through shared experiences and workshops provided by various deaf and hard-of-hearing role models.<\/p>\n<p>Jr. NAD chapters focus on advocacy, attitude, awareness, commitment, cooperation, friendship, information exchange, involvement and leadership skills. Chapters have meetings and participate in many activities such as community events and fundraisers. Skills and values obtained by chapter members during these meetings and events will help them to become future leaders and advocates in the deaf and hard of hearing community.<\/p>\n<p>The Pre-Registration form includes a deposit fee of $50 per person and must be submitted by May 31, 2013.\u00a0 If you decide to withdraw, the $50 fee is\u00a0<em><strong>not<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0refundable.
