Work involves interpreting or translating English into American Sign Language and American Sign Language into English or other applicable language. Duties may include but are not limited to interpreting during: meetings, interviews, counseling, emergencies, staff development, Governing Board meetings, conferences, field trips, student related activities, student mainstream classes, out of town assignments, as well as teaching sign language classes. The position requires flexible hours and the ability to travel to meet the needs of the students and staff including nights and\/or weekends as required. Must have reliable transportation and be able to respond and adapt to changing assignments in a prescribed time frame.
