On May 25, 1985 the Austin Association of the Deaf hosted the world premiere of the short two-act play called \u201cDeaf Smith: the Great Texian Scout\u201d at the Texas School for the Deaf. The historic play was produced by the students and staff of SWCID and Howard College, written by Dr. Stephen C. Baldwin, and directed by Timothy H. Haynes.\u00a0 Go and watch video here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
