Attendance is free, first-come-first-served for all events based on seating capacity. <\/p>\n<p>Marlee Matlin, actress, author &#038; activist on behalf of deaf people, will be a guest speaker. Her new book, Leading Ladies, will be released this month. It is her third children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s book, following Nobody\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Perfect &#038; Deaf Child Crossing. She will speak at The First United Methodist Family Life Center, 1300 Lavaca St., Saturday from 3:30-4:15 pm. She will be assisted by her own Sign Language Interpreter. A program schedule will be in the Austin American Statesman the week prior to the Festival &#038; free copies are available at the Festival. <\/p>\n<p>Speaker events will be held in the Capitol &#038; Annex, the First United Methodist Church, 1200-1300 LaVaca, &#038; the Austin Museum of Art, 823 Congress. <\/p>\n<p>Sign Language Interpreters will be scheduled at the Information Tent located at 12th &#038; Colorado. Look for the International SLI Symbol banner. Scheduling will be on a first-come basis. Depending on the availability of Interpreters &#038; the demand, it may be necessary to return to the Information Tent to schedule for multiple Presentations. <\/p>\n<p>Reserved seats for deaf persons will be available at all speaker presentations. They will be held until 10 minutes before the speaker begins. After that they will be released for the general public.
