Door opens at 12 noon
\nSign -up at 2:30 p.m.
\nExplanation of rules and seating assignments at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Competition starts at 4 p.m. sharp. (15,000 in Poker Chips)<\/p>\n
Entrance Fee: member-$20.00 and non-member-$23.00<\/p>\n
This is the second month tournament of the year.<\/p>\n
An opening of North Texas Deaf Poker Competition at DAD on August 5th was off to a complete success and there was a capacity crowd.<\/p>\n
It was viewed by the fans as a classic poker competition.<\/p>\n
46 men and women were participated in the last month’s tournament. Tommy Le raked up 10 point value to oust Jody Dunn (7 pts.) for a first place. The rest of players in order are: Andy Adams (5 pts), Jack Rosenthal (3 pts.), Yen Kenny (1 pt.), Britt Luneborg (1 pt.), Torrie Levine (1 pt.), and Nathan Faver (1 pt.)<\/p>\n
During the Labor Day competition, you could move up to the top 8 places, depend on the point value you have earned from this tournament. It will always be changed in the players’ standing each month. You may have a lucky hand!<\/p>\n
The number of players will be up to 80 limit.<\/p>\n
Hearing individuals who can communicate in sign language, are welcome to participate in the Deaf poker tournament.<\/p>\n
Admission for Fans: Member-$2.00 and Non-Member-$3.00.
\n(No Children Allowed)<\/p>\n
HAPPY HOURS: 12:00 noon – 4 P.M.and 8:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M.<\/p>\n
Foods and drinks will be sold. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and corny dogs.<\/p>\n
