\n\tHave you ever accepted an assignment excited you have a team only to find out they turned out to be a crab? What does that mean? Come find out how to be a team player in the world of interpreting. We will cover many different scenarios in which teams are utilized. This will be an interactive workshop so come prepared to participate and have some fun!

\n\tPresenters: Debbie Glass-Stufflebean and Deanna Donaldson
\n\t 
\n\tDebbie Glass-Stufflebean <\/strong>is the Professional Development Coordinator and a staff interpreter for Visual Communication Services. Debbie has been a professional interpreter for 23 year. Debbie is passionate about continuing education and developing the skills of fellow interpreters as well as interns. Debbie, originally from St. Louis Missouri, is a RID CI\/CT certified interpreter, and has sat on two different AC boards under TSID while presently on the board of Trustees for TSID. Over the next year Debbie will be highlighting in her “Tools for Success” series areas of interpreting that she feels will help develop interpreters in their pursuit of a successful professional career.
\n\t 
\n\tDeanna Donaldson<\/strong> graduated from Western Oregon University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in ASL\/Interpreter Training. She has had over 8 years of experience working with deaf\/blind in Seattle Washington and in Houston. She continues to work with deaf students and adults with minimal language sign knowledge. As support staff with VCS Deanna works closely with Debbie in Professional Development and is a valuable mentor to our interns. Deanna also works as an ad-junct instructor in ITP at Lone Star College System. As a Deaf individual she will share her firsthand experience with interpreter teaming situations.
