\n\tDenise A. LaGesse of Buda, Texas, formerly of Superior, has attained the position of residential supervisor at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tShe will start her new position Aug. 14 and supervise both the elementary and middle school girls dormitories.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Texas School for the Deaf was founded in 1856 and had four students. It is the oldest continuously operating public school in Texas, serving grades K-12.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDenise graduated from the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, Wis., and Gallaudet University for the Deaf in Washington D.C.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAt Galludet, she was a founding member and president of the Delta Zeta Sorority.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tShe is the daughter of Gerald and Janice LaGesse of Buda, Texas, formerly of Superior.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDenise is enjoying a trip to Central America before assuming her new duties.\n<\/p>\n
