A MESSAGE FROM THE DAD PRESIDENT: <\/p>\n

Hello Members and Friends of DAD; <\/p>\n

We are nearly half way through November! You may wondering why I am
\nso concern of the timing each month. To tell you the truth, I am kind
\nof reminding you and myself that it’s time for us to get some holiday
\nshopping done. Sooner the better, or we would be among those late
\nshoppers – that’s no fun! <\/p>\n

Last Saturday, we had 34 bowlers. The winner went to Johnny Dominik
\nfrom TX, 2nd place to Jonathon Hollis from OK and 3rd place to Ted
\nThomas from NE. There were so many fans who watched the game and\/or
\nchatted their fingers off. More than half of the fans came to DAD
\nafter the bowling tournament to meet with Miss Deaf Texas, Katherine
\nMurch. <\/p>\n

Miss Deaf Texas and her committee had their fundraising which was a
\ngreat turnout! I saw a few young ladies and two girls (10 year olds)
\nhad the opportunity to mingle with Miss Deaf Texas, Katherine Murch. <\/p>\n

This coming Saturday morning 9:00 to 12:00pm will be our fourth and
\nfinal 2007 Job Workshop with Mr. Bobby Benefield, DARS counselor in
\nFt. Worth. Then the Dallas Black Deaf Advocacy (DBDA) will have their
\nmonthly meeting at 3:00pm, for more information please contact Cathy

\n. <\/p>\n

Last but not least, long time favorite card game, CINGO, will be held
\nat 8:00pm. Grilled cheese sandwich, chips\/variety kind of soups, iced
\ntea and dessert will be sold. <\/p>\n

Like I mentioned earlier in my message, holidays are just around the
\ncorner….so please review the following events because they require
\nRSVP. RSVP will help us prepare for number of attendance. <\/p>\n
