A MESSAGE TO MEMBERS AND FRIENDS FROM THE DAD PRESIDENT: <\/p>\n

11\/27\/07<\/p>\n

Hello Members and Friends of DAD; <\/p>\n

We, the DAD Board, hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day and a
\nsafe journey back home. Now it’s time to shift our mood and spirit to
\nthe upcoming Christmas & Hanuka holidays which are right around the
\ncorner! <\/p>\n

Before we get that far ahead, there is something really exciting will
\nhappen this coming Thursday! Yes that’s right! It’s the Green Bay
\nPackers playing against the Dallas Cowboys. It has always been a
\nrival between those two teams. Both teams have 10 -1 record; Brett
\nFavre who’s 38 years old, is surprising everyone how well he is
\nplaying when many of us had thought he would retire last summer.
\nRomo, who was raised and played in Burlington, WI, which is only 25
\nmiles away from where I grew up! Dang it, I could have met him years
\nago, ha. <\/p>\n

Anyway, many of you know that I am a true Green Bay Packer fan and I
\nam sure that there are a few more Packer fans. I am making an
\nannouncement that Dallas Association of the Deaf clubhouse will be
\nOPEN, this Thursday, November 29 at 5:30pm. Hamburger, hotdogs, chips
\nand desserts will be sold. So do come on over and join the fun! <\/p>\n

Deaf, hard of hearing and\/or hearing children are welcome to join the
\nWinter Holiday Party. All we need to know is the child(ren)’s name and
\nage so we can ensure that he\/she will receive an appropriate gift when
\nhe\/she comes to the party. Parents or guardians are also encourage to
\nbring a dozen cookies. <\/p>\n

This event is recommended for 10 years old and younger. Children will
\nhave an opportunity to play a few games, color some pictures and meet
\nSanta Claus who can sign! Free for children! <\/p>\n

Last but not the least: New Year’s Eve Party! – Dec 31. Doors will
\nopen at 5:00pm; <\/p>\n
