Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL). ADL may include<br \/>\nbut are not limited to such as: <\/p>\n<p> personal grooming and cleanliness,<br \/>\n bed making,<br \/>\n eating and the preparation of food,<br \/>\n assistance with self-administered medications,<br \/>\n toileting,<br \/>\n transferring\/ambulating,<br \/>\n laundry, and<br \/>\n household chores outside of the client&#8217;s bedroom to meet the<br \/>\nclient&#8217;s needs. This is: <\/p>\n<p> limited to three hours per week, and <\/p>\n<p> provided when a client lives with family or an able roommate; <\/p>\n<p>2. Social Skills. Social skills may include but are not limited to: <\/p>\n<p> shopping,<br \/>\n community activities,<br \/>\n receptive and expressive communication, and<br \/>\n learning; and <\/p>\n<p>3. Adaptive Skills. Adaptive skills may include but are not limited<br \/>\nto: <\/p>\n<p> mobility, and<br \/>\n decision making <\/p>\n<p>Transportation is included in the rate for residential habilitation<br \/>\nwhen provided between the client&#8217;s: <\/p>\n<p> place of residence and other habilitation sites (day habilitation<br \/>\nsites, volunteer site); and\/or<br \/>\n habilitation sites. <\/p>\n<p>For more information, please email Ashley Erickson, Assistant<br \/>\nRegional Director, at aerickson@voatx.org<\/p>\n<p>.
