Memorial service: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Charles Stewart, pastor, and Brian Tullos, minister of worship, Cana Baptist Church, Burleson. The service will be interpreted in sign language by Jack and Carl Earwood, Jaclyn Seay and LaTonne Stout. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood. Pallbearers: Drew Altom, Scott Nordblom, Dan White, Sean Earwood, Shane Earwood and Jimmy Odom.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tMemorials: Gifts in memory of Nellie Mae Earwood may be made to Heritage Square, 500 S. Beach, Fort Worth, Texas 76105. Ms. Earwood was born April 22, 1922, at her parents&#39; home in Midland, according to earliest records. She attended the New Mexico School for the Deaf in Santa Fe. She married her school sweetheart, Floyd Wilson Earwood Sr., in June 1943. Mr. Earwood died in October 1970 due to injuries from an automobile accident. Living in Fort Worth since 1951, Ms. Earwood was residing in the assisted living program for the deaf and deafblind at Heritage Square at the time of her death. She was a member of Cana Baptist Church in Burleson, which has a ministry to the deaf and hard of hearing.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAs a loving daughter, sister, wife and grandmother, Ms. Earwood was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Etta Able of New Mexico; brother, William Able of Pennsylvania; husband, Floyd Wilson Earwood Sr. of Fort Worth; and a grandson, David King of Saginaw.
