\n\tWe're excited about our partnership with Ragnar for the Trail Race in Snowmass, Colorado from June 6-7, 2014. Not only will we be the official charity of the event, we are also a part of their run.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRagnar has graciously waived the fee for one team to represent Aspen Camp in the race. So… we are looking for 3 to 8 Deaf or hard of hearing runners who are committed and able to run on our team. You will be expected to run between 4 to 6 miles per leg. Don't forget that Snowmass is located at high altitude and breathing will be different at this level than sea level. More information about the trail and the run can be found at http:\/\/www.ragnartrail.com\/locations\/snowmass-co<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile you will not be expected to pay for the team fee ($1,200), you will be expected to cover the cost of transportation, lodging, and meals. Aspen Camp will be running summer camp at this time and will not be able to open our campus for camping. If you want to visit in May (before the 23rd), you can stay at Aspen Camp for $30 a night. Those placed on the team will get two free tickets to Deaf Camp Picnic (July 19-20) if you can make it!\n<\/p>\n

\n\t+ Your identity (Deaf, hard-of-hearing)
\n\t+ Other minority identity, if any (black, gay, etc; we want diversity!)
\n\t+ Your experiences with marathons and runs (trail running will help!)
\n\t+ Why you want to run on the Aspen Camp team\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe deadline to apply for the team is March 15, 2014. We might contact you for a follow-up interview if we have more than enough great applicants.\n<\/p>\n
