\n\tLive life in a simulated deaf environment at Deaf Deaf World, scheduled on Saturday, April 5, from 1:00 to 5:00 at the Living Legends Conference Center on the Spring Creek campus. You will learn some basic American Sign Language so that you can go to a grocery store, eat out, do your banking, etc., all in a non-hearing environment. Also become familiar with Deaf history and experiences and with civil rights concerns in the Deaf community. Finally, enjoy ASL performances of stories, comedies and skits. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tAdmission is free. Donations will be accepted, and proceeds will go to the interpreter student scholarship fund.\n<\/p>\n
