Visit the Scarbrough building in downtown<br \/>\nAustin on the southwest corner of 6th and Congress. <\/p>\n<p>For the month of December through January 12, the Scarbrough windows<br \/>\nare adorned with large 4\u0019x8\u0019 holiday multimedia posters depicting<br \/>\nstill photos of students \u001csigning\u001d holiday carols, hanging photo<br \/>\nmontages and Elementary student \u001choliday hand\u001d mobiles. Reflecting<br \/>\nthe technology that the school is known for, large flat screen TV\u0019s<br \/>\nbring to life the work of Video Technology and Digital Graphics<br \/>\nstudents teamed up with student\u0019s studying American Sign Language as<br \/>\na foreign language in a compilation of movies and animated holiday<br \/>\nsequences. <\/p>\n<p>Also on display in the 6th Street window is a winterized replica of<br \/>\nthe school\u0019s treasured \u001cMule Ears\u001d building, which dominated the<br \/>\nAustin skyline from 1877 to 1957. The building\u0019s 6th street interior<br \/>\nlobby is showcasing pieces from the exhibit \u001cThe Greatest Story Never<br \/>\nHeard\u001d originally on display at the Austin Bergstrom International<br \/>\nAirport in honor of the school\u0019s Sesquicentennial last year. The<br \/>\nexhibit demonstrates \u001cthen and now\u001d perspectives in school uniforms,<br \/>\neducational approaches in the classroom, technology and athletics. <\/p>\n<p>The exhibit includes informative decals, which provide interesting<br \/>\ninformation about these young artists, their dreams and their<br \/>\nthoughts about their art. Displayed to such a wide-reaching audience,<br \/>\nstudents\u0019 faces were overjoyed when they saw their artwork installed.<br \/>\nFranna Camenisch, TSD alumna and curator of the school\u0019s museum,<br \/>\nreflected on shopping at downtown Scarbrough\u0019s as a young girl, but<br \/>\ncommented, \u001cI never in a million years thought I would one day be<br \/>\ndecorating these windows.
