Alert System Survey<\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently, I am a UTSA ENTREPRENEUR Student and looking to develop an alert system for the hearing impaired that will allow them to be alerted when they are called, a siren goes off, the phone rings, or honked at; to help them be more aware of their surroundings.<\/p>\n

I am currently doing research regarding an alert device for the deaf and hard of hearing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n

Just a few questions.<\/p>\n

1. Is there a device currently on the market that alerts you when someone calls your name or if an alarm or siren is going off near you? If so how often do you use it? Is it mobile?<\/p>\n

2. What features would you look for in such a device?<\/p>\n

3. What’s the most common challenge you face each and every day and is there something you wish was available on the market today that does not exist.<\/p>\n
