Grant talked how he originally started Deaf Network<\/p>\n
website 10 years ago. (November 1997 \u0013 Present) Before he signed up
\nnew domain, he used free webpage service under local ISP. Also, he
\nwas lucky to learn some HTML codes (Using Notepad) from his friend at
\njob. Of course things are slow but very exciting at this time. <\/p>\n
Remember at this time, Netscape was very popular so does AOL and
\nGoogle was nothing but baby. Dot-Com has gone crazy. Each domain cost
\n$35 dollars \u0013 it is very expensive compared $10 per domain today. <\/p>\n
Back then, they had few clients such as Merritt Interpreting Service,
\nDeaf Celebration, Jean Massieu Academy, Dallas Deaf Club, and Deaf
\nAction Center. They are important part of his dream \u0013 feed
\ninformation such as events, announcement and others to community yet
\nit\u0019s all free. <\/p>\n

Deaf Network of Texas mailing list started off with 300 subscribers
\nand it grew over 3,000 subscribers today. It\u0019s been amazing
\nexperience \u0013 he will never forget that many people think is email is
\ncrazy and stupid. But he saw it full of opportunity for deaf
\ncommunity. <\/p>\n
He never dreams it would continue that long but he plan to continue
\nas long as demand is there. He\u0019s blessing to have wonderful
\nsupporters, advertisers and fans over years. <\/p>\n
