Chuck Motter Accepts Position as Director of CART and Captioning <\/p>\n
WASHINGTON, January 1, 2008 \u0013 Visual Language Interpreting (VLI), a
\nleading provider of sign language interpreting and CART services, has
\ncommitted to the expansion of its CART and Captioning services by
\njoining forces with Chuck Motter. Motter comes to VLI as a veteran
\ncourt reporter and CART writer highly regarded in the CART and
\ncaptioning industry. <\/p>\n
Before joining VLI, Motter has worked in the field of CART and
\ncaptioning since 1992. Motter entered the field of realtime
\ncaptioning as a court reporter in 1974, at the age of seventeen, when
\nhe enrolled in the court reporting program at Brown Mackie College in
\nSalina, Kansas. Over the years, Motter has earned state
\ncertifications in Kansas and Missouri, as well as multiple
\ncertifications from the national certifying body, National Court
\nReporters Association (NCRA). Motter is also dedicated to the
\nbetterment of his field by participating in member-run associations
\nin Kansas and Missouri, and serving as an officer in all positions
\nfor the Kansas Court Reporters Association. <\/p>\n
\u001cAfter our investment in building a new CART platform, we are honored
\nto enlist the support of Chuck Motter as the Director of CART and
\nCaptioning. Having a person of his stature in the realtime community
\ndedicated to quality of our CART services is in line with our

In May 2007, VLI launched is proprietary CART platform that allows

Motter will continue to have his base of operations in the Kansas
\nCity area, where he lives with his wife of 24 years and two children.<\/p>\n
