SafePlace: Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Survival Center is
\nrecruiting for the following positions: <\/p>\n
ASL Staff Interpreter – (part time – 20 hours\/weekly) $18,500 YR <\/p>\n
The ASL Staff Interpreter is responsible for providing advanced,
\nconfidential interpreting services within the agency which may
\ninclude meetings, trainings, etc. The ASL Staff Interpreter may have
\nopportunities to broaden work experience beyond interpreting as time
\nallows, including but not limited to providing assistance with
\nwritten communications in English, developing informational materials
\non topics related to interpreters and working with individuals who are
\nDeaf, and offering ASL classes to agency staff. <\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS: At least three years of professional interpreting
\nexperience, must have Level III, prefer IV or V. Excellent writing
\nand organizational skills and ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook
\nsoftware programs. <\/p>\n
