First Annual TX H&V High Five Awards announcement:<\/p>\n

Do you know someone in Texas who has made a significant positive contribution to a deaf\/hard of hearing (d\/hh) child or children? Maybe it is a parent, sibling, teacher, student, a friend, a community advocate, a d\/hh role model, interpreter, audiologist, medical provider or a relative who has gone above and beyond to lend their hands and voices to<\/span> supporting our children and\/or improving systems or services for families who are raising d\/hh children.<\/p>\n

Help Texas Hands & Voices recognize professionals, community members and families who pioneer on behalf of all our children. We want to celebrate and salute their contributions to our first annual High Five Award. Please share with us in one page (typed or legibly written) how that person has positively impacted the lives of children who are Deaf or hard of hearing and their families, and why you think this person deserves recognition.<\/p>\n

All submissions will be evaluated by the nomination<\/span> committee and voted on by the board of Texas Hands & Voices. One or more winners will be selected and presented with their award at Family Weekend Retreat. High Five Award winners will also be acknowledged at our booths and on our website year round.<\/p>\n
