She\u2019s a sweet and sassy gal who happily marries him and heads back up the mountain for an idyllic life with Adam &#8211; and his six rowdy brothers. Add six abductions of six town beauties, an avalanche, and a long, long winter and you\u2019ve got the plot for SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, a truly rambunctious musical.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the MGM movie of the same name, \u201cSeven Brides for Seven Brothers\u201d was considered to be a \u201csleeper\u201d when it was released in 1954 with Jane Powell and Howard Keel as its stars. The modestly-budgeted film surprised everyone by becoming an enormous hit, even being nominated for an Academy Award as Best Picture. Founded by <span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"44b4593b-d630-48b0-a4bf-db5d52c07d77\">DeeAnn<\/span> and Richard Blair and Dorothy Sanders in October 2002, their first production, Steel Magnolias, opened at the former North Hills Mall in North Richland Hills, Texas in March of 2003.
